Maya Jama’s time on The Celebrity Traitors may be running out… after viewers suggested she may have exposed herself as a Traitor during the most recent task.
In a hilarious plot twist, Jama and her fellow Traitors James Acaster and King Kenny were tasked with murdering a Faithful in plain sight, by attempting to “bore them to death”. They would achieve this by spraying “deadly sleeping powder” from a perfume bottle into a room, wait for whichever Faithfuls enter the room, and then somehow get one of them to yawn. Upon witnessing the yawn, one of the Traitors would have to say “Am I boring you?”, followed by their name, sealing their fate in the process.
The incredibly convoluted task saw Ross Kemp and Jerry Hall become the unlucky pair to stumble into the poisoned room, leaving Jama and Acaster grasping at straws to encourage a yawn. For Jama, this involved repeatedly yawning herself, in the hopes it’d make either Kemp or Hall to mimic her.
