TORONTO/MISSISSAUGA: A major food safety alert has been issued for Costco shoppers across Canada. Costco Canada is advising customers not to consume specific packages of The Greek Gods Honey Yogurt and The Greek Gods Organic Yogurt Plain due to the potential presence of mould.
According to Costco, the affected products may have been purchased from Costco warehouses and Costco Business Centres between June and August 2026. The recall notice was issued on August 11, 2026.

Costco’s Clear Warning: DO NOT CONSUME!
If you have one of the affected yogurt products and its Best Before code appears on the recall list, do not eat it, serve it to anyone, or use it.
Costco is advising customers to return affected products to any Costco warehouse, where they can receive a full refund.
If you gave the yogurt to a friend, family member, or another person, Costco advises you to inform them about the recall immediately.
Why Was the Yogurt Recalled?
According to Costco’s recall notice, the primary concern is the potential presence of mould in specific products. As a precautionary measure, packages carrying the affected Best Before codes are being recalled.
Important: Even if the Best Before date on a package has not yet passed, it should not be considered safe if its code is included in the recall.
How Can Customers Get a Refund?
Return the affected yogurt to your nearest Costco warehouse to receive a refund.
