The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that preparations for Hajj 2026 have been completed, with no additional cost imposed on approximately 180,000 Pakistani pilgrims.
Officials said the quota includes 120,000 government-sponsored and 60,000 private pilgrims. Hajj flight operations are scheduled to begin on April 18, with a new Lahore route introduced alongside existing departure points to facilitate travellers.
Authorities stated that arrangements for travel, accommodation, and transportation have been finalised to ensure smooth and comfortable services for pilgrims. Coordination with private operators is also being strengthened to regulate services related to Hajj and Umrah.
The ministry said efforts are underway to utilise the full quota while maintaining improved standards of management and support for pilgrims. Officials also highlighted continued cooperation with Saudi authorities to ensure effective facilitation during the pilgrimage season.
