Canada’s wheelchair curling team has delivered an exceptional performance, reaching the Paralympic mixed team semi-finals after winning all of its round-robin matches. Their victory over the United States in the final group-stage game completed a flawless record and made them the first team in Paralympic history to remain unbeaten throughout the round-robin stage.

The team displayed remarkable consistency and resilience, including notable wins over top-ranked opponents and several closely contested matches. Their success reflects a long tradition of excellence, as Canada has now secured a podium finish in every Paralympic Winter Games in which wheelchair curling has been contested. In the semi-final, Canada staged a dramatic comeback against South Korea, recovering from a late deficit to win 8-7 and book a place in the gold-medal match against China.

Canada has previously won gold on three occasions and bronze in the two most recent editions, further highlighting its dominance in the sport. Unlike the controversy that surrounded Canada’s Olympic curling teams over alleged rule violations, the wheelchair curling team’s campaign has been defined purely by skill, composure, and achievement.
