The technical committee of the Pakistan Super League has rejected Fakhar Zaman’s appeal against a two-match suspension, maintaining the penalty after reviewing the case.

The decision comes after the batter was charged with a serious breach of conduct during a recent league match, related to altering the condition of the ball. Match officials had reported the incident during a crucial stage of the game, leading to a penalty that impacted the match outcome.

Following a detailed review and hearing, the committee concluded that the original decision was justified and dismissed the appeal.

The suspension means the player will miss upcoming matches, while he continues to deny the allegations.
