Multan Sultans secured a convincing six-wicket win over Quetta Gladiators in the 13th match of PSL 11 at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
Chasing a target of 167, the Sultans reached the total with 15 balls remaining, thanks to a strong start from their top order. The opening partnership between Sahibzada Farhan and Steven Smith added quick runs before early breakthroughs slowed the chase.
Smith anchored the innings with a fluent half-century, while Shan Masood played a composed unbeaten knock to guide his side home. Earlier, Quetta Gladiators posted 166/7, with their captain leading the scoring after early wickets put pressure on the innings.
Despite a fighting effort from the middle order, Quetta could not build enough momentum. Multan bowlers, led by a key three-wicket spell, kept the opposition in check throughout the innings.
With this win, Multan Sultans strengthened their position in the tournament standings.
