Canada (Mahboob Sheikh) – Canadian Member of Parliament and Secretary of State responsible for combating crime, Ruby Sahota, said that Holi is a festival of colors and a beautiful celebration of love, renewal, and the triumph of good over evil. She extended warm wishes for a joyful Holi filled with light, laughter, and love for all who are celebrating.
Sahota further shared that the CSC Holi Cultural Event in Brampton highlighted the vibrancy and unity of the community, where people from all backgrounds came together to share joy, culture, and connection.
She emphasized that in Brampton North–Caledon, diversity is the community’s greatest strength. Events like these demonstrate that differences do not divide people but instead make the community more colorful, compassionate, and united.
