Important Information for Hajj 2027

He also shared several important updates regarding Hajj 2027 under the private Hajj scheme:

  • Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Pilgrims applying within the allocated quota will not be subject to a ballot, and their bookings will be confirmed.
  • Pakistani passport will be mandatory for obtaining a Hajj visa.
  • Children under the age of 12 will not be permitted to perform Hajj.
  • Women will be allowed to perform Hajj without a Mahram, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
  • Pilgrims may travel to Saudi Arabia directly or indirectly from any country.
  • Hajj e-Visas will be issued online.
  • According to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the issuance of Hajj visas is expected to begin on 20 Sha’ban 1448 AH (January 28, 2027), before the start of the holy month of Ramadan.
