PM Shehbaz Highlights Strong Pakistan-US Ties at Anniversary Event
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed the strength of Pakistan’s relationship with the United States, describing bilateral ties as broad-based and rooted in decades of cooperation.
Speaking at an event marking the 250th anniversary of the United States, the prime minister said relations between the two countries span more than eight decades, with collaboration extending across trade, investment, education, agriculture and counter-terrorism.
He noted that many Pakistanis have studied and worked in the United States, contributing to closer people-to-people connections and strengthening bilateral relations.
The prime minister emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in economic and security sectors and expressed optimism about the future of the partnership.
He also highlighted Pakistan’s efforts to support regional peace and stability, while acknowledging the role of international engagement in promoting dialogue and cooperation.
The event underscored the long-standing ties between Pakistan and the United States and the shared interest in further strengthening relations in the years ahead.
