Iran has presented a 10-point framework aimed at ending the conflict with the United States, following a two-week ceasefire reached through diplomatic efforts.
The proposal includes key conditions such as easing restrictions on strategic waterways, withdrawal of foreign forces from the region, lifting of sanctions, release of frozen assets, and recognition of Iran’s nuclear programme under an agreed framework.
It also calls for compensation for damages, removal of international restrictions, and formal approval of the agreement through a binding global resolution.
Officials indicated that negotiations are expected to take place in Islamabad, as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to secure a broader and lasting agreement.
The proposal has been described as a workable basis for dialogue, raising hopes for further progress toward stability, with Iran signaling readiness to scale back military actions if conditions are met.
