The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has rejected recent media reports regarding the status of Iranian nationals in the country, calling the claims inaccurate.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Iranian community, which has been present in the UAE for decades, continues to be a valued part of society and contributes to the country’s multicultural environment.
Officials highlighted that the UAE hosts more than 200 nationalities, reflecting its long-standing policy of tolerance and coexistence.
The ministry said reports suggesting changes or issues related to the residency status of Iranian nationals were unfounded, stressing that existing legal frameworks ensure equal protection for all residents.
It added that authorities remain committed to maintaining stability, upholding the rule of law, and safeguarding the rights and security of all communities in the country.
