The Sindh government has announced the resumption of physical classes at all educational institutions across the province from April 1, ending the period of online learning.

Officials stated that schools, colleges, and universities will reopen for in-person teaching, while institutions will remain closed on Saturdays as part of a revised weekly schedule.

Educational institutions had remained closed for over two weeks due to administrative measures and ongoing regional tensions that prompted precautionary steps.

Authorities also confirmed that the new academic year will begin from April 1, with a two-day weekend to be observed on Saturdays and Sundays.

The closure period was part of broader cost-saving measures, including reduced fuel usage, restrictions on government spending, and other steps aimed at managing economic challenges.

Separately, educational institutions in the federal capital have also been directed to resume academic activities from the same date.
