Karachi: Police have recovered a three-year-old girl who was reportedly abducted from Seaview Beach during Eid ul Fitr holidays.
According to authorities, the child went missing during a family outing on the third day of Eid, prompting a kidnapping case to be registered at Darakhshan Police Station. Her father later reported that she disappeared while playing on the beach amid heavy crowds.
Police circulated the child’s details on social media to assist in the search operation. She was later found safe near Jackson Masan Chowk by investigation officials.
A suspect has been taken into custody, while further investigation is underway.
Officials said large crowds were present at Seaview during the Eid holidays, and several children had gone missing in the rush but were later reunited with their families.
